Bastiaan Mol 

(male , gay , born 1954, Rotterdam,Netherlands)

Dutch artist/illustrator living in Delfshaven, an old part in the city of Rotterdam.

Although he painted all of his life from as early as he can remember, his professional education 

he got at the Academy of Arts in Antwerp,Belgium (1986-1991) (illustration design).

Bastiaan paints EVERY DAY. He works mainly with live (male) models.

He still paints in various subjects, but the main subject during the last 10 years is

that of the MALE FIGURE.

Ever since Bastiaan`s official websites got online around 2013, it has been 

his paintings of the male figure in various forms and styles that got the foremost attention.

For that reason ,they also were sold faster an so he started painting more and more.

At this moment ,Bastiaan now is mostly known around the globe for these male painting.

For that reason this website , will be all about the MALE subject of his art in the first place!

Another reason is, that nowadays he is not able to show his male nudes in many other places.

They are constantly banned from the internet due to anti-nudity rules.

On social media today you can not show nude people .You can show a woman`s breast, but not its nipple.

You can show a man`s body, but not its penis. (let alone erected!)

To me a body is a body , a model is a model, I don`t see what can be wrong with showing that.

Unfortunately the big part of this world wants us to believe naked skin is to be shamed about.

Still: I will always paint and create what is in my mind as it has to come out.

On this one of my websites I will be able to show my work UNRESTRICTED !
